Zuri Hassan - Bipedal Patas Monkey

CD(8) - Zuri Hassan, Zaharan Wanderer with her little step-brother, Mo Jr.

Zuri was found by a Zebra merchant, Jomo, in a middle of the night of the Zaharan desert near his homestead. He didn’t expect a baby but, a young monkey deprived from thirst. Unfortunately, she can't remember why she was there in the first place. Jomo empathise the youngling and took her as her adopted daughter. This was his dream came true that someone like her, will accompany his also adopted son Mo junior, a baby monkey he found from a quarrel between a couple.
Zuri and Mo were his little assistants when they off for trading out the Zaharan desert. The two were inseparatable and, would always adore playing outdoors. They visited numerous locations like the great city of Cannon and the Oasis. As Zuri and Mo grown together, they are more prevalent in their father’s post of being apprentices and, both excited to see objects from foreign lands.
Their happy bonding would be cut short that one night, as an intruder broke into their homestead. They were about to kidnap Zuri. Jomo sensed her daughter was in danger and, used his strength to fend them off. It worked. A he was about to check on Zuri but,one of the assailant had a chance to stab Jomo from the back. This gave the intruder to do what it must do in the first place. Mo unfortunately awoke from the noise. Irritated, the intruder also tried to kill one more witness. As the blade reached her littler brother, Zuri has an adrenaline rush and used her arms as a shield. She thinks it’s just a scratch but, how weak and thin her limbs that inevitably incapacitated both her arms in the process. On time, her father killed the last assailant with his last strength.
Jomo then quickly bandaged poor Zuri, managing to relieve her thanks to Jomo’s expertise in medicine.
After two days their father was left dying in a bed and, both the siblings tried their effort to relieve their father’s pain. However, Jomo died due to damaged lung and internal wound.
Later, they mourn for their father after a proper burial behind their homestead. Zuri quickly made the choice to move out as the chance their assailant may come back. With them both prepared, they set off to the barren land of Zaharan desert to survive. They aim to avenge their father’s death, not knowing what they’re about to get into while revealing Zuri’s true origins...
